Traditional Handicraft Arts Training Camp

  • Introducing the arts to the young people by skilled craftsmen in the state in respect of the Introduce the arts to the young people by skilled craftsmen in the state in respect of abstract heritage Date: 03.02.2020 to Date:09.02.2020(Seven Days) Akkamahadevi Women's Graduate College of Arts and Commerce, Bylahongala, Belgaum organized a handicrafts training camp here.

  • Students in traditional dress attire and take part in the traditional walk and cheer for the program.

  • A seminar and exhibition on handicrafts was held.

  • Trained in the traditional art of embroidery and koudi arts, pottery and decorative pottery, bamboo traditional arts (decorative tools), worli arts (sandals) and traditional swans, mehndi art, carpentry.

  • About 250 students participated in the training.
