Cleaning Preservation and Promotion of Heritage Buildings In Collaboration With NSS

Government Order No: CME 157 KMU 2002 (Appendix I) Monument Cleaning of Monuments has been carried out with the participation of the volunteers of the National Service Program of Universities to educate the public, young people on the importance and conservation of the monuments.

The Monument of cleanliness Method and Activities:

 

  • Of the premises of the monument To go inside Making the right way.

  • Cleaning the garbage around the monument, undergrowth.

  • Removal of stone mounds Debris around the monument.

  • If there are antiquities in such a group, select them in a safe place and inform the concerned department.

  • Removal of mud pits to ensure that the monument is not affected.

  • The floor of the monument should not be dug or compromised.

  • Removal or displacement of such an elephant shall not be employed if the monument wall, storey, pole, beam, tower, roof, pedestal etc. are to be found.

  • The dirt, smoke, wood and algae on the inside and outside of the monument should be washed with clean water only.

  • Chemicals, soap, caustic sod, acid, tamarind or any fruit containing fruit, nut, leaf etc. should not be used as a souvenir.

  • During the monument, do not rinse the Read Ochre.

  • Contact the concerned department before cleaning the paintings on the inner wall, outer wall and so on.

  • The sculptures should be cleaned with pure water only.

  • No part of the monument shall be disassembled or rebuilt.

  • Preservation of the monument; Seek advice from Departmental Officers if they have difficulty in cleaning.

 

Monumental Safety Measures:

 

  • Entering the monument to ensure that there is no poisonous air inside the monuments.

  • Ensure proper air circulation inside the monuments or not.

  • Making proper lighting inside the monuments.

  • Work must be stopped before sunset.

  • Beware of poisonous living organisms and animals.

  • The protection and cleanliness of the Kalyani, the well, the cave, the subway, etc., should not be taken for granted.

  • Beware of loosening, sliding, and sensitive parts of the monument when climbing the monument.

  • Religious feelings should not be provoked.

  • If power lines are in and out of the monument, the work will be started after the power supply is stopped.

  • No fire should be placed inside the monument.

  • Making First Aid Kit Available

  • Accompanied by a nearby police station, fire brigade, hospital, private nursing home, doctor's telephone number.
