Chalukya’s Heritage Area Management Authority

Purpose;

 

 

  • Karnataka was ruled by various dynasties, of which the Chalukyas made Badami, their capital. During his reign, the Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal architectural temples, hut towers, cenotaphs, and huge artifacts were built in the Indo-Saracenic style, which still serve as our historical monuments to the history of the Chalukyas. Other temples built during this period include the Cave Temple, Badami Fort, Buddhist Natural Fort, Jain Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Aihole Fort, Ravalgodi Cave Temple, Jain Temple (Meena Basadi), Buddhist Chaityalaya and many other historical monuments. The Pattadakal stone has already been added to the World Heritage List with the aim of extending the status to Aihole and Badami.

 

 

Scope;

 

 

  • Badami Fort, Cave Temple Temples, Agasthayathi Ghata, Agasthya Guthi Ecosystem, Agasthya Guthi Ecosystem, Badami, Aihole and Pattadakali Ghats Fort, South Fort, Buddhist Natural Fort, Jain Temple, Elllamma Gudi, Jambulinga Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Indo-Islamic Monuments, Arali Ponds, Tripurantaka Shiva at Pattadakal, Sculptures of Kalahari Siva and Jodhalaya Temple, Galaganatha Gudi Group, Gauri Gudi, Jainarayana Group, Maddinagudi-Thriyambakeshwara Group, Charanmati Mata Group, Rachi Gudi, Ladder There are monuments and historical sites such as the Guru Gudi Group, Aralibasappa Gudi, Ramalingeshwara Gudi Group, etc.

 

 

  • In the Budget for 2015-16, the “Chalukya Heritage Area Management Development Authority” has been mandated to include the Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal stones.

 

 

  • “Chalukya Heritage Area Management Development Authority Subsidy 2017- (Approval No. 46 of the 2017 Assembly) is approved by the Karnataka State Council. And Government Order No: Kasanawa 119 KMU 2018, Bangalore Notification issued with effect from 26.10.2018.
